Peterseim Aerospace Consulting is headed up by Stuart Peterseim. Stu has more than 20 years of manufacturing and maintenance experience in the aviation industry, and he is a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Designated Airworthiness Representative - Manufacturing (DAR-F). He also holds an FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) endorsement.
Stu has worked the maintenance and manufacturing sides of the industry, under both FAA and Department of Defense jurisdictions, in the U.S. and in two combat zones as a civilian contractor. He obtained his IA more than 10 years ago and went on to provide continual contract certification support to the organization designated authorization (ODA) department of America's large cabin business jet manufacturer. In this role, he supported pre-type certificate (TC), TC, supplemental type certificate (STC) and production certificate (PC) efforts for new aircraft programs as well as design changes to the company's legacy fleet.
Stu has been involved in multiple facets of the aviation industry - everything from an owner/operator to an airframe and powerplant (A&P) mechanic/IA, from working as a structures fabricator restoring WWII aircraft to building aircraft for a military contractor to the U.S. Navy. He also has extensive experience supporting airframe refurbishment efforts to allied nations.
Peterseim Aerospace Consulting supplies hand-picked aviation professionals to assist our customers with their aviation industry requirements. We do not advertise nationally and bring onboard whomever applies; we know the people we send to our customers.
